Welcome to another post on my blog. In today's post, I am going to tell you about the first Rugby World Cup match in Japan. As you know, this world cup is located in Japan. This game was played in Tokyo Stadium, Tokyo. This game was played yesterday, 20 September. Japan won the game, 30-10. Kotaro Matushima scored a hat-trick (11', 38', 68').

Welcome to another post on my blog. In today's post, we are going to learn about new information about Malaysia. First, let's know some information about the country.

Malaysia is one of the most popular tourist countries in the world, located in south-east Asia, having amazing attractions and incredible cultures. Malaysia is a multi-ethnic country with a population of 32,040,359 (in 2019).

There are two parts of Malaysia which are divided by the South China Sea, peninsular Malaysia (West Malaysia), on the Malay Peninsula bordered by Thailand and Singapore in the south. The Malaysian Borneo (or East Malaysia), located on the northern part of the island of Borneo in the South China Sea, bordering Indonesia.

Let's know some facts about Malaysia.

1. According to Worldometers, the population of Malaysia is 32,040,359 in 2019.
2. Malaysia ranks 44th in the world population.

3. Malaysia shares borders with Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei and Singapore.
4. The largest city in Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur.
5. The national animal of Malaysia is the endangered Malayan Tiger.
6. The world's largest cave chamber is the Sarawak Chamber, located in the Gunung Mulu National Park.
7. Malaysia holds 20% of the world's animal species. 
8. The popular sports played in Malaysia are football, tennis, squash, badminton, field hockey, bowls, martial ars, skateboarding, sailing and horse riding.
9. There are a total of 28 national parks in Malaysia.
10. The tallest mountain in Malaysia is Mount Kinabalu at 4,095 m (13,436 ft) above sea level.

What's Your 2040?

Welcome to another post on my blog. Today, we had watched a documentary named in 2040. This documentary is about climate change and global warming. This is an Australian documentary by Damon Gameau. Damon Gameu also acted and screenplay. So this documentary/film was about Damon concerned about his young daughter's future, he travels around the world searching new solutions and resolutions to global warming.

We had to answer reflective questions.

What are 2 things you learnt?

One of the two things that I have learnt today was that there are many positive solutions of making the world better.

The second thing that I have learnt was about seaweeds. Seaweeds can grow up to half a meter (50m) long, which was pretty impressive. It also takes carbon dioxide from the air into the seaweed. That seaweed can be eaten too!


What I would like to see in 2040?

What I would see in 2040 is the cleanness and the pollution reduced. There will be fewer cars, which decreases pollution. Also, there will be solar-powered vehicles.

Sea of Tranquillity or Mare Tranquilitatis, the landing of Apollo 11 which gave its first walk on the moon. Are you serious, walk? In the Sea of Tranquillity? Well, the Sea of Tranquillity is not a sea, so Neil Armstrong didn’t walk in water, actually, there isn’t a single sea on the Moon. Early astronomers mistook them as actual seas.

The Sea of Tranquillity was once thought to be an ocean. It appears dark when viewed from Earth, smooth and relatively flat.

The actual landing site of Apollo 11 is named as Satatio Tranquillitatis or Tranquility Base.

Insurance Declined!

Have you had insurance declined? But have you heard about Life Insurance in space? If you want to go to space, would you get an insurance, of course, you would. But if your insurance gets declined, how would you feel? Sad, frustrated, angry or mad, right? 

This story had happened to astronauts from Apollo 11. Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins, got their insurance declined, but they still went to the moon. NASA didn’t have any special life insurance for its astronauts.

Neil Armstrong was famous, with the Apollo 11 crew. At that time, everyone wanted their autographs. Apollo 11 crew astronauts had been signing autographs since the day that they were announced as astronauts. They had been signing what they called “insurance covers”, which were small white postcards. They would wait until the launch date before signing and mailing the cards to their family, friends and their loved ones.

Fortunately, their creative insurance was never needed. Their mission was a success.

Solar Energy (Part 2) | Conservation/Sustainability

Welcome to another post on my blog. For science today, we have been writing instructional writing for our Solar Energy experiment. Here is my work. I hope you like it.

Climate Chaos

Title	Solar Energy
Aim	To find out which colour attracts the suns heat.
Hypothesis	I think that white will attract the most because solar panels have white around the edges.
Materials	Heat Lamp 2 Styrofoam Cups Plastic Cup 2 Tin Foil Thermometer White Paper 100mls Water (in each cup) 2 Black Plastic Timer
Steps	Get a heat lamp, 2 styrofoam cups, a plastic cup, 2 tin foil, a thermometer, a white paper, 100mls of water (in each cup), 2 black plastic and a timer. Put the cups in order. (left, styrofoam cup, centre, plastic cup with black plastic, right, styrofoam cup with tinfoil through. Plug the heat lamp. Put some water in the cups. Every 15 minutes, check the temperature with a thermometer.  Record the findings.
Data/Findings	Time  Cup 1 White Cup 2 Black Cup 3 Tinfoil 0 16 16 16 15 17 17 17 30 17 22 18 45 18 22 18 When we timed the first cup (white) at fifteen minutes, only 1 degree had increased, which is pretty normal. At 30 minutes, we tested again and we got the same result, 17 degrees, there was no change in the cup. After 15 more minutes (45 minutes), 1 degree had increased, which led up to 18 degrees. The water had changed by 2 degrees, from 16 to 18. The second cup was similar to the first cup, but a bit different after. At fifteen minutes, it was 17 degrees. At 30 minutes, the temperature burst like a rocket and let up to 22 degrees Celcius. After 15 minutes, the temperature stayed at the same position, 22 degrees. The third cup with tinfoil, at 15 minutes it was 17 degrees like the white and black cup. At 30 minutes, it increased by 1 degree to 18 degrees. At 45 minutes it stayed the same.
Conclusion	In conclusion, my findings in this experiment state that black attracts most to heat. At 30 minutes, it went up to 22 degrees, which was surprising, because I thought that white had attracted the most when white got only 17 degrees. I had learnt that black attracts most to the sun’s heat. I think that darker colours attract more to the sun’s heat. That’s why the solar panels colour is black, not white. What I also leant today is that in hot countries, they paint the houses white because it doesn’t attract the sun. If they painted the house black, then, the house will be hot as fire.
