A Mountain named Blue Mountains?

For recount I had wrote a time when I had been to Blue Mountains in Sydney (Not on my blog). My Dad and I went to Sydney at 1st of March and we went to Blue Mountains at 4th of March. I had a great day at Blue Mountains read below of my journey with my Dad at Blue Mountains. I hope you like my recount. Have a cool day!! Bye!!

Blue Mountains

It was a Sunday morning in Sydney when we decided to go and look at Blue Mountains, to see the scenic view. We got ready and went in the car. I really like traveling and looking at scenic views. My dad’s friend went with us. He drove the car and he said to go to Oporto. We got a burger each and peri peri sauce chips. I checked on Google Maps where is Blue Mountains and is was 1 hour and 5 minutes to reach Blue Mountains. I am really excited!

This was my fourth and second last day at Sydney. On the way we saw Wet n’ Wild, remember when I went to Wet n’ Wild in Gold Coast. But the trees where covering the site and we were on the motorway. There wasn’t much things to look around but there was more cars than we see in our motorways.

My dad’s friend said that we are going to look at Three Sisters. I was thinking, “Three Sisters?” He said that Three Sisters is a tourist attraction. I was really excited to see the Three Sisters.

After 45 minutes…

“We are nearly there,” my Dad’s friends said. We were going on top of the hills, and there was a sign called ‘Scenic World’. We arrived at Katoomba. Katoomba is a small town outside of Sydney. There was an underground parking for the scenic view. We walked over to the entrance, we went inside and there was the view of the mountains. At the reception they gave a band (with a barcode), a map and said to go on the railway and then go for a walk, there was one way for 30 minutes and 10 minutes. My Dad said to go on the 10 minute walk and go on the railway back.

We scanned the barcode and took a photo of the view with my dad, on the way it said that the Scenic Railway is the steepest railway in the world. We had to wait in a long line. We waited for 5 to 10 minutes when it was our turn to go on the Scenic Railway. When we were waiting we heard people screaming when the Scenic Railway went down. My Dad said that they were being too scared of the ride. We were sitting in the middle of the railway. There wasn’t any seatbelts to wear. The doors of the side automatically closed. The railway slowly went forward, when the railway went steeper it got a bit faster. People screamed when the railway went steeper. The railway goes steep to 52°. We had to hold the bars that were on top. We wanted to take some photos when we go but it was really hard. My Dad took this photo when this railway was about to go down. People screamed and for me it was fun to ride this railway. When we arrived at the bottom we could see the Three Sisters. We took some photos together with the mountains. I went up and looked at the view and there were heaps of mountains in front and around me.

My Dad and I went on the 10 minute walk to the Cableway. We walked and saw the trees. When we were walking there was a old mine that had been closed. “Where here” I said, it didn’t seem like it was a 10 minute walk.

We had arrived at the Scenic Cableway. It wasn’t a long line like the Scenic Railway. When the Cableway came there were more people than we waited in the line. My Dad and I stayed in the front to see the view. There was the three sisters in the view. When we turned around we could see the trees and the nature. The Cableway was slow because people can see the view of the mountains and hills. When the cableway stopped it gave us a tiny swing of the cableway. We went out of the cableway and walked to the Skyway.

The line of the Skyway was similar to the Railway but the Skyway comes every 2 minutes (there is a screen to count how long does it take). After 2 Skyways came and went it was out turn to go on the Skyway. My Dad’s friend said to go in the middle of the Skyway because you can see under the Skyway (the electro-glass cabin floor). When we went in the Skyway we went in the middle of the Skyway. There was a introduction of the Skyway, facts and its view. They also said that you can see the Three Sisters from the view. When the Skyway started we could see under the Skyway. It was amazing. We could see Katoomba Falls, Jamison Valley in the distance and plants and trees under us. There was an announcement that we have reached to the destination, we didn’t got off because we didn’t had time looking on the other side. So we stayed and waited for the people to come, we were still standing in the middle of the Skyway. When we reached back we went in the car and my Dad’s friend said to go to Echo Lookout. There is a great view there.

We reached there in a few minutes. We had a good parking near the lookout. There were dark green mountains. There were tourists looking at the view. It was awesome. We could see the three sisters really closely. I took some pictures of the Three Sisters and the view of the mountains in a pano. It was a great view. This was the best trip so far. In the distance we could see the Skyway. I was thinking “Why is the Skyway far when we could see the Three Sisters closely?” It was quite weird. We went downstairs. There was the Prince Henry Cliff Walk but we didn’t want to do it. We stayed for 10 minutes then we went back in the car to go home.

It was an awesome day at Blue Mountains and Echo Point. My favorite time was when we had to go on the Scenic Railway, done the 10 minute walk, the Skyway and Echo Point, there was a great view.

The Wet Head Challenge

Last few posts I posted my video of the Wet Head Challenge. Now I am writing my story about it. I didn't write some parts in the ending because I didn't have time to write. Please leave a comment on my post. Thanks for reading my story! Bye!!

The Wet Head Challenge

In the first day of October Ameya and Arayan came to my house to play the Wet Head Challenge. Ameya and Arayan came because we had a plan to play Wet Head on a sunny day.

I was excited about this game because I had never played Wet Head before. Mum just bought it from the shop. I wanted to get them wet rather me getting wet.

On the first day of October I was really excited because Ameya and Arayan was coming to my house to play a game called, The Wet Head Challenge.

Then we decided that we can record the game on Ameya’s iPad. Me and Ameya started the video with the introduction and then we started the game. Ameya said to my dad to play but he said no, so Ameya said that he could record the video. Arayan wanted to start the game. My dad didn’t know how to record so Ameya teached how to record, then we started the game. We filled in half of water in the container.

First Arayan spun the spinner and it came pull one pin and spin again when he pulled the pin he was safe. Arayan spun again and it came pull two pins. All of as laughed, Arayan pulled the two pins firstly Arayan was safe but on his second try Arayan got wet. Arayan liked the water and he wanted to get wet all the time because it is a hot day.

Next it was Ameya’s turn. Ameya wasn’t worried Ameya spun the spinner and it came pull one pin Ameya pulled and Ameya was safe. Next it was Shreeya’s turn (my sister), Shreeya was scared and she said, “ I want to do it slowly.” Ameya said “Yup.” When she spun it, it came reverse (she had to spin the spinner in the opposite direction) and when Shreeya spun the spinner again it came pull one pin. Shreeya couldn’t pull the pin so Ameya pulled the pin and Shreeya was safe. It was my turn I wasn’t tensed or scared. When I spun the spinner it came pull one pin and I was safe there. Next it was Arayan’s turn Arayan was excited to get wet, Arayan spun the spinner and it came.. Pull one pin, that time Arayan didn’t got wet but next time Arayan wanted to get wet. It was Ameya’s turn, Ameya spun the spinner and it came pull one pin. When Ameya pulled the pin, we thought that Ameya was safe but a few seconds after Ameya got wet. Next it was Shreeya’s turn, Shreeya wasn’t scared because last time Shreeya didn’t got wet. Ameya put the cap on Shreeya but it didn’t fit. Shreeya spun the spinner, it came pull one pin and Shreeya was safe. After that it was my turn (like Shreeya I wasn’t scared) when I spun the spinner it came pull two pins, I was tensed. I pulled the first pin, I was safe the second pin (I was really scared), I pulled the second pin and I was… Safe!! I am the luckiest person as well Shreeya because Shreeya and I haven’t got wet! Now Arayan’s turn, when he spun the spinner it came pull one pin. When Arayan was pulling the pin Arayan was laughing Arayan thought that he is going to get wet and that happened he got wet! Next it was Ameya’s turn when he spun the spinner it was pull one and pull one and spin again. The nearest side was to pull one and spin again he pulled the pin, Ameya was safe! Ameya spun again it came pull one and spin again, was Ameya safe…? What a relief that Ameya was safe. Now the last spin and it came… Skip turn (that means that he has to skip a turn). Now Shreeya’s turn Shreeya spun the spinner then it came came pull one and spin again, Shreeya was safe on her first try. Now her second go it came pull two pins, on her first try she was safe and her second try.

Finally the final round it’s my turn, I spun the spinner and it came pull one and spin again, I was safe on the first go now my second spin it came… Pull one pin, when I pulled the one pin, I was safe, but few seconds after I got wet so I was the loser of the game.

Now it was lunch time we ordered some pizza’s we all were happy to have pizza from, Pizza Hut. We had separate pizza boxes. I couldn’t eat 8 pieces! When I started eating I had already eaten two pizza’s in three minutes then six pieces, I wasn’t full yet so I eaten a full pizza but still I wasn’t full.

At evening Ameya and Arayan went home, we had a awesome day!

The Lions Failed Feast

It was a nice early December morning at the African Savannah, my family, my friends and I were sleeping in the nice sun.. Then a lion woke the pride up gently and said, “The herd of buffalo's are coming near us, I think they are sneaking on us!”

Some of the lions were ready to charge but I stopped and said, “First we have to go to that bush and get ready to attack.”

When they came closer, we raced after them, the baby lion was racing super fast to get the calf. When the baby lion caught the calf, the rest of pride came and tried to kill the calf. (Splash), the Crocodile jumped and caught the calf’s tail, and that time there was like a tug of war of the lions and the crocodile.

With joy we pulled out the calf out then the herd of buffalo's came. Some of the lions ran away but the baby lion and my wife were trapped by the buffalo’s. I was coming to save them, but an enormous buffalo came and chased me. Then an enormous buffalo came, and nearly dragged the baby lion and my wife to the river. Then a lion came, jumped and hit a buffalo and ran away from the herd of buffalo’s. After the buffalo's left the lion, the calf was standing up and we thought “How is the calf standing up?
“How is the calf alive?” Then the calf came back to the herd.

I felt like I was the most unlucky lion on Earth. I learnt that our pride will never ever hunt a buffalo.

First Draft

The Lions Failed Feast

It was a nice Early October Morning at the African Savannah me, my family and my friends having a nice rest.

When I woke up I saw the herd of Buffalo’s for the first time. Then I woke the pride up gently and said “The herd of Buffalo's are seeking to attack us!” Some of the lions were nearly to charge but my dad stopped and said “First we have to pounce then we can attack the Buffaloes.” I smelled danger heading for them. When they came near we chased after them, I was running super fast to catch the calf. When I caught the calf the pride of lions came and tried to kill the calf. But the crocodile jumped and caught the calf’s tail, and that time there was like a tug of war. Then the lions pulled out the calf out then the herd of Buffalo's came, some of the lions ran away but me and my mum were trapped by the Buffalo’s my dad was coming to save us but an enormous Buffalo came and chased my dad. Then an enormous Buffalo came and nearly dragged me and my mum to the river.
