What have we done this week? | Drama

For drama, we had to blog about what we had done this week. This week, we have done four main things that I am going to share you today.

With Drama, we also have health, we focus health in drama. So in health, we had discussed about healthy food. Here is an example of a food pyramid.

Freeze and Spoken Thoughts

We had to say a phrase of some healthy food. Examples: Bananas for you. Eat a rainbow. Drink water every day. Eat healthy food. You are berry special. Orange you so sweet. and more...

I had said 'You are berry special'. Below is a video where we had said our phrases. Hope you like it.


Holiday Donut

So we had a partner, and we had to say our name, what we had done in the holidays and what did you feel. We had rotated and talked to many other people.

Learning Highlights 2016 Powtoon

Master Chef

Today for Master Chef we have to make 4 different types of food. We made Salad, Fruit smoothies, Zucchini Parmesan Crisps and Hawaiian Chicken Kebab's. First our group, Megaladons made Salad and we all worked together as a team. Then we made Fruit Smoothies and there was heaps of bananas, pineapples, kiwifruits and oranges. It was really fun to make a few smoothies. In the ending I make a smoothies with lots of bananas, some pineapples, kiwifruits, oranges with some yogurt and milk to fill up the last bits of the smoothies. It was lots and lots of fun together to make the 2 different types of food. Hope you like my post! Have a awesome day! Bye!!

Health and Nutrition

Food Labels
In a day you only need 24g of sugar, 1.5gm of sodium, 22gm of saturated & trans fat, 34gm of protein, 28gm of fiber and 2,000gm of calories. 

Example:

So in the is Cool Ranch Chip's it has 1g of saturated fat, 0g of trans fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 180mg of sodium, 18g of total carbohydrate, 2g of dietary fiber, less than 1g of sugars and 2g of protein. Yesterday I learnt something new that saturated & trans are bad fats.
