The Code Alphabet
Last post was about Binary Numbers. But now in this post this is about Binary Alphabet. If you didn't look my post about Binary Numbers click here. Vann helped me make the Binary Alphabet chart below. As you see I wrote my name in Binary Alphabet. You also can try to write your name in Binary Alphabet. Like the last post I made a DLO about Binary Alphabet. The slideshow is not that big but it has some information about Binary Alphabet. Give me some feedback of how well I did this post. Binary Numbers
At week 8 we started looking at Binary Numbers. Binary Numbers are used to code, numbers and the alphabet. The order of the numbers goes, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 and so on. This always goes in doubles. We always write from left to right, but for this code it is right to left. Do you know what a computer knows? On and Off!! We have to use codes to work the numbers and alphabet. There are different codes for on and off, like this means, on, off, off, off, on, on. There are more codes like, 0 1 0 0 0 1. This shows 1 as on and 0 as off. It goes, off, on, off, off, off, on. I have made a slideshow/DLO about Binary Numbers. I hope you like my DLO that I made. Among the Hidden Final Activity
This week is the last week of term (Term 3). There were 3 last activities of our novels. We had to choose one of the activities. There is, character collection (this activity is about to make the main character's objects, people or other things, eg: Jen's computer.), another one is text conversation (this activity is about the conversations of Luke and Jen, the last one is about to create a game (this activity is about to make your own game on gamefroot.com). I chose character collection. In my group there was Axle, Vann (again). For the character collection we make our objects with clay. If you haven't seen my last novel post about my retelling click here. For our character collection we made Luke's Mom and Dad, Jen's computer, hog , flashlight 🔦, a tree, a bulb and a gun. Below is the thinklink that I made. This clay modeling took about 3 days to make. We tried to make our best in our creation. Online Manners
W.A.L.T: Interact online in a kind, positive and helpful way.
For the last few weeks we are learning about Netiquette for cybersmart. If you don't know what Netiquette means I will tell you the meaning, the word 'Netiquette' comes from the the words net and etiquette. Etiquette are the rules of behavior considered to be good manners. We are learning about netiquette when emailing. We had watched a video about what does Netiquette mean. After watching the video we made a mindmup and brainstormed our ideas. First we had to know what to do and what do not do. Also it is good to know how to be safe online. Below is my mindmup that I made. There is heaps of information to know. On the left is the things to not do and on the right is the things that you do online. So have a look at my mindmup that I made.
When I knew what Netiquette means I learnt heaps of new things about Netiquette. Like there is one like flamewars. Flamewars are mean language while chatting online.

Partly Cloudy
For the last few days in writing we are writing about a video named 'Partly Cloudy'. This video is about a stork named Peck and a gray cloud named Gus. There were heaps of pink clouds above, but the gray cloud felt lonely, so he had a stork helper, Peck. In this story we had to be Peck or Gus. This story is a bit big but I hope you like my story. Partly Cloudy
The sky was glowing and shimmering all around, also the sun was bright and scintillating. The clouds were pink, fluffy, soft and squishy, it felt like sleeping on a candy floss.
Anyway, I was a stork that had a job to deliver fun and cute things to make people happy. There were hundreds of storks flying around the village. Each stork had it’s own cloud and that’s how we deliver fun and cute things to others like, Kittens, Dogs, and even new born babies.. They make the fun things by making a pile of soft cloud peice and electric to make the fun objects.
But my cloud wasn’t like that. My cloud was below the pink clouds and sad type of cloud. He tried to make something fun for the others. Now I will introduce myself, my name is Peck and I am the helper for the gray cloud. Also I will introduce my cloud, his name is Gus.
I was coming from the delivery, suddenly he grabbed me and scratched me on the side of my head, then I pecked him back. I was asking to give more deliveries. Gus gave me a… baby crocodile? I felt a bit confused, but it was cute, delightful and adorable . I pointed to come to me, the baby crocodile jumped and bite my face! “Ouchhh, AAAAAAH!” I screamed! The baby crocodile went big as a balloon because I screamed inside him. I was finding his tail to take him out. I pulled him out and felt relieved. Gus made a bag and put in inside and said to deliver him. I wasn’t happy about that. The baby crocodile was wobbling like a jelly. Gus waved to say bye.
I was huffed and puffed about the amount of deliveries that I do. My right hand feathers were falling out. Gus was making another animal? I went back because the animal couldn't attack me, but last time there was a baby crocodile that was attacking. Now I didn’t want to deliver another attacking animal. Gus added the electric shock and suddenly…
The animal ran to my tummy. It was really painful. I didn’t recognized when the animal attacked me. The animal looks cute and adorable like the baby crocodile, but it is really attackable. It was the baby sheep with big horns that I was talking about. Instantaneously I heard a voice coming from above, it was the Stock, the cloud and the puppy. The puppy was cute, friendly and nice. I wished I had that type of cloud. But then I recognized that Gus was looking at me. He gave me the bag and I flew away. Before flying away the baby sheep with big horns hit me repeatedly. I didn’t knew that today was the worst day of my life, I was suffering with pain.
When I returned back I had a purple eye because of the baby sheep with big horns. Now this animal was round and small. Gus as usual electrics the piece of cloud and when I holded the cloud it appeared a...
Porcupine!!!!!
I screamed and throwed the Porcupine up in the air because it was so prickly. When I caught the Porcupine again it was so prickly. Finally, Gus picked the Porcupine and made a bag. When the Porcupine was in the bag the was prickly. I holded the Porcupine from my beak to the top of the bag and I few off. When I returned back it was sunset. I returned back with heaps of the prickly Porcupine hair. I closed my eyes when Gus pulls the prickly Porcupine hair off. My whole body with feathers were nearly off. Gus hughes me with kind. After hugging Gus remembers something behind him. It was a huge…
SHARK!!!!!!
It was bigger than I expected. I flew back, I didn’t want to deliver more of these dangerous and attacking creatures. Then I heard someone laughing, It was the stork with their cloud, they were playing with baby chicks. They were laughing all around. Gus and I were looking at the fun that they were doing, then Gus tried to give me the shark. Now I decided to not do more deliveries from Gus, so I flew off to the happy clouds. When I landed to another the happy cloud showed me something to give to. I picked up the bag and flew back to Gus. I opened the bag and there were some, American Football armor that I woe. Afterwards Gus felt happy that I didn’t left him. I asked him to deliver more things. Gus took some piece of cloud and made like a lizard. Gus elected and a eel popped up. But then it eclectic me, I was moving around as I am doing a crazy dance. But after a few seconds it stopped. Gus hugged me and laughed. It turned out to be a good day.

Making Slime!!
From term 1, we had a marble jar that we had to fill up to 100 marbles. Every time we fill 100 marbles we receive a reward chosen from the class or the teachers. We have filled the jar 3 times and we received 3 fun rewards. When we filled the jar for the first time we had something cold and yummy. It was Ice-Cream with marshmallows. I didn't ate the Ice-Cream with marshmallows. We had fun day for our second reward. It was named fun day because there were multiple fun things that we could do. 1st was to make Lollycake, 2nd was to make Sherbet and 3rd Coding. There was 5 groups to be in. I was in group 4. First we made Lollycake. When it was time to eat the Lollycake Mr Scott said that this was the best Lollycake made in the class. Now this is our 3rd time filling the jar. Now our class had to vote what we are going to do. There were 2 big votes one was Sushi and one was Slime. There was a final vote and the winner was... Slime. There was about 30+ votes for Slime and Sushi was about 5-10 votes. Then we had to find a group of 4 and find the best video to make Slime. In my group there was Vann, Axle, Jullien, Joshua and I. Vann found the best video and our group accepted his video. After lunch the teacher went to the store to buy the ingredients. When it was time to make Slime we made 2 groups in one because there was only 6 bowls. When we started making slime it got a bit bad and restarted over again. We took turns string the bowl. Our prediction was that the Slime was soft and stretchy. At that moment the teacher called me and said to go to Mr Scott's office (the principle's office) to be the blogger of the week. When I reached to Mr Scott's office he asked me some questions about blogging. He wrote the answers in his computer and wrote a Facebook post about what I have done about blogging. He showed me the post and posted the post on Facebook. That time it was 3:00, the bell rung and it was time to go home. I went back to class with my Chromebook. When I went back to class my friends and classmates have gone home. Vann showed me the packing of the Slime. He said that the teachers gave us less slime and the slime was not good. The Piano
For a few days we are writing about a video named 'The Piano'. This video is about a old man playing the piano and remembering his memories. This video is short, but we needed to add descriptive words. Also we haven't done any Maths, Reading and Writing because of the Extravaganza. In this story we had to be the Granddad or the outside viewer. I chose to be the Granddad. Most people in the class chose to be the Granddad. I hope you like my story that I have wrote. Here is my writing that I have done.
The rhythm was drifting smoothly through my body and it came through onto the piano. My fingers were flowing steadily. The depressing music from the black piano was playing I remembered the flashlight memories when I was playing this music to my wife.
Also what I could remember was in 1945 when World War 2 was going to end, I was in the war being the First Aid helper. I nodded to the soldier beside me, to say that it’s safe. He turned around and when he was going to shoot, he got shot. I ran and dragged him back. I was holding his hand to see if he is okay.
The other thing that I remembered was when my dad gave me a present. The box was long, I thought it was a playing gun. But it was a wooden horse toy. I hopped the toy all around. Like that I saw my grandson, Jake, playing the same toy at the same place. That is one of the best memory when I was a child. Jake came and sat next to me. He looked at me and pressed the last key and ended the song. Jake and I faces each other.
