Chocolate Chip Cookies!!! | Food Technology

Welcome to another post on my blog. For food technology, we had been cooking Chocolate Chip Cookies. It was really fun and enjoying. Last food technology, we had been making the dough for the cookies. Now, today, we have been cooking them in the oven. After making the dough for the cookies, we had to weigh the weight of the dough.

The weight of the dough was 403g.

Next, we had to divide the weight of the dough by 12. Because we are making 12 cookies, per pair. That total will be our weigh for one cookie. We have to make 12 cookies of the same weight.

Using Long Division we had divided the total. Here is an example of Long Division and how to do it.

The total weight of one cookie was 33.5g

First of all, we rolled the cookies and used a fork to mark the cookies. We had a test cookie, which had the exact amount of one cookie. Next, we baked the cookies, and observe if the cookie increased or decreased its size. After cooking the cookies, we had to weigh the test cookie after being cooked.

Conclusion:

Sadly, our test cookie increased the weight be 0.2g (33.7g). But, when I tasted the cookies, they tasted good.

I didn't take a photo of the cookie.
