Rorschach

Psychologist conducting Rorschach test
For today's post I am going to talk about a test that psychologist use. There is a test named Rorschach. Psychologist use Rorschach inkblock to measure emotional strength.

The way to use Rorschach:
A Rorschach test inkblot
So it is a set of cards containing pictures if inkblock, that had been folded over to create a mirror picture. If you want to test this out you need to ask someone, "What does this look like?" You need to record the answer, and ask other people the question. See what they get? In this test it would say what they see.

Some of the heritages are popular as you see in the slide. Also we had to make a poster of one of the heritages in the slide. We had done hard work in this slide and hope you like it. Make sure to comment down below. Have a cool day!! Bye!!

Below is our poster that we made.

"But How Did he Get up There?"

For this weeks 100 word challenge our prompt was "but how did he/she get up there?" I had finished this writing in 10 minutes. The prompt was good to write and below the image is proof that I had wrote in 100 words. I hope you like my post and please comment down below. I hope you have a cool day!! Bye!!

Tony woke up and screamed “aaaah!” There was a creature beside Tony looking confused. Tony asked in shock “whoo arrre youu?!” The creature picked me up and said “It’s no time to talk just follow me.” The creature went to a cave where there was no one there. The creature said “You are in danger, think that you need to go to space.”

“We are nearly there,” said the creature.

Beep, Beep, Beep. The alarm rang, Tony woke up and jumped on top of the low bookshelf. Tony’s mum came and asked “How did you get up there?” Tony wondered.

4 Development Stages in Children

For today's post, I am showing you one of Jean Piaget's theory's. This theory is about 4 Development Stages in Children (as shown in the title). Jean Piaget has done this experiment from stage 1: (0-2 years), stage 2: (2-7 years), stage 3: (7-11 years), stage 4: (11 and older, until to 19 years old).  On top ↑ is an image of the 4 stages in the theory (. Also below are more depth information about the stages.
What I've learnt: In the first stage the babies (little children) would get more sensitive like moving objects and sucking them. In the second stage, I didn't know that they would often use "why?". For the third stage, they use more thinking as they get older. For the fourth and last stage, they have the ability to use hypothesize (brainstorm).

How to Brainstorm Easily?

For today's post, I am going to post about the easiest way to brainstorm ideas. There is an app on Google Drive called Mindmup or Mindmap. I have also used it and it really helped me for the brainstorm. It is free and you only need to sign in. On the right is one of my old Mindmup that I have made about Komodo Dragon Facts. Try it its fun! I hope you like my post about Mindmup. Have a cool day!! Bye!!

Who is this Famous Psychologist?

For this post, I had to research about a famous psychologist named Ivan Pavlov. Also, know why is he a famous psychologist?

Ivan Pavlov

His Early Life

Ivan Pavlov was born on 14 September, 1849 in a small village named Ryazan, Russia. His earliest studies were most focused on theology. He soon abandoned religious studies and devoted himself to the study of science.
In 1870, he began studying the natural sciences at the University of Saint Petersburg

Pavlov's Career and his Discoveries

Pavlov's primary interests were the study of psychology and natural sciences.

There had been a famous experiment that he had done on his dogs. Pavlov's experiment has played a critical role in the discovery of one of the most important concepts in psychology. Actually, his discovery was quite by accident.

How did this experiment happen?

Well, he trained his dog and when he rings the bell the dogs run to the food and eat their food. When Pavlov rings the bell the dogs know that the food is ready to eat. Pavlov's experiments worked well and he was noted as the Russian physiologist who went to win the 1904 Nobel Prize for his work studying digestive processes.

Below is a video of Ivan Pavlov's dogs.

Pavlov died on 27 February, 1936.

My Brain

For science we had done a profile test of what you are. After finishing this test we had our results of what we are. I hope you like my post about my brain. Have a cool day!! Bye!!

Aim: I want to find out what sort of brains I have.

Method: Fill out some questions. Add up the answers.

Results: 90% of my answers are the left brain and 10% of my brain is the right brain.

Can This be 100 Words?

The 100 Word Challenge

For this challenge we have to write a story that is exactly 100 words. How? So there is a picture below that we have to write a story about. This picture below is about a giant teacup that scooped grass. Now we had to write a story out of that. It took about half an hour to finish the whole story. It was really fun writing this 100 word challenge. I hope you like my post about my 100 word challenge. Have a cool day and week!! Bye!!

Suddenly the giant’s teacup fell...

The giant was sitting in his old and rusty chair like always drinking his stinky tea. Boom! There was a loud explosion that came from the west. Suddenly the giant’s teacup fell down, down and down all the way to Earth.

A Few Years Later - On Earth…

The scientists came and found the unknown, mysterious teacup that scooped up grass. The scientists wondered and scratches their head, “how could this happen?”. The End The movie ended well and the people enjoyed the movie, some people said, “Wow what a movie that was."

Welcome to Psychology

What is Psychology?
It is a scientific study of the human mind and its functions, especially those affecting behaviour in a given context or mental characteristics or attitude of a person or group.

Psychology is a study of the mind and behaviour.

The mind is highly complex, and conditions that relate to it can be hard to treat.
Thought processes, emotions, memories, dreams, perceptions, and so on cannot be seen physically, like a skin rash or heart defect.
While physical signs of some mental health issues can be observed, such as the plaques that develop with Alzheimer's disease, many theories of psychology are based on observation of human behaviour.
A practising psychologist will meet with patients, carry out assessments to find out what their concerns are and what is causing any difficulties, and recommend or provide treatment, for example, through counselling and psychotherapy.
Psychologists may have other roles, too. They may carry out studies to advise health authorities and other bodies on social and other strategies, assess children who find it difficult to learn in school, give workshops on how to prevent bullying, work with recruitment teams in companies, and much more.
