Melbourne River Cruises |
After eating, we went outside and took photos 📸 together. We saw some cool places like, MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground 🏟️), Olympic Park, Melbourne Park, AAMI Park 🏟️ and Rod Laver Arena. The mini cruise went through Yarra River. It was a great view. Did you know: MCG is the largest Cricket Ground in the world - with 100,024 capacity (MCG is not a stadium for Cricket, it is a stadium for AFL - Australian Football League, Rugby League and even Baseball ⚾!). Let's go back to the topic. It wasn't a long ride. After getting of the mini cruise we went to ACMI for a look.
We climbed up the stairs and looked around. First we saw pom-pom trees (hanged pom-poms). Then we saw a visitor centre at Federation Square. We went inside the visitor centre and went down in the lift to the basement. When we went inside the basement there was heaps of maps around the basement. There were the maps of Melbourne and surrounding places. We went out of the basement to the top, my dad's friend decided to go to the tram 🚎. We crossed St Kilda Street and Flinders Street. At the station we saw that only 3 different tram numbers come to this station, 35 (City Circle), 70 (Waterfront Docklands), and 73 (Etihad Stadium). We decided to go around the city central and picked the tram 🚊35. "We missed the tram." I said. Now we had to wait for 12 minutes for the tram.
After 12 minutes...
At 3:13 P.M the tram arrived to the station. It was a hot day (After one train leaves from a station one other train comes from the other side of the tram number 35.) so there was heaps of noise of the tracks and the wheel. The tram goes from Melbourne Central (of course) and Docklands near the port. The driver switches sides at Docklands because it was the end at Docklands. These are the roads/streets that we had been, Flinders Street, Wurundjeri Way, Collins Street, Harbor Esplanade, La Trobe Street, Victoria Street, Spring Street and Wellington Parade. It took 50 minutes in the tram 🚊= we arrived at 4:03 P.M We stopped at the wrong station, we went out of the train one station early. Then my dad's friend said that we can go to the Sea Life Aquarium. At the reception desk the lady said that the penguins are going to sleep so go there quickly. When we went to the Penguin playground the Penguins were walking around and nearly going to sleep. There were some other people already there looking and taking photos of the Penguins. So we took photos as well. There were Penguins there like King Penguins and Gentoo Penguins.
Then the next place to visit, the Crocodile Cork. The Sea Life Aquarium is much larger than the aquarium in Auckland. When we reached on top of Crocodile Cork the Crocodile was huge from the top. The Crocodile was sleeping. Behind there was animals like Turtles, Snakes and Green Pythons. Here are the animals/Sea Animals that we saw,
Coral Atoll
Southern Blue Tang, multicoloured fish, Moray Eeels, and other Sea Animals.Coral Caves
Clownfish and Moon Jellies.
Mermaid Garden
Grey Nurse Shark, Smooth Stingray and Queensland Groper.
Seahorse Pier
Giant Cuttlefish and Sea Dragons.
Rainforest Adventure
Lungfish, Sea Turtles and Lizards and Spiders.
Penguin Playground
King Penguins and Gentoo Penguins.
Bay Of Rays
Port Jackson Shark
Others
Sawfish, Stingrays, Shark Ray, White Spotted Eagle Ray, Giant Smooth Ray, Lungfish, Archerfish, Boyd’s Forest Dragon, Sea Star, Seahorse, Leafy Sea Dragons, Giant Cuttlefish, Pinjarra (the mega crocodile), Blacktip Reef Shark and Whitetip Reef Shark.
On the side there was a stair that leads down near the Pinjarra (the mega crocodile). When we came near some people made noise and made the Pinjarra awake. Then his/her right foot stood up. There we see fishes swim under the Pinjarra. Then we went to the next place. I have seen animals that I haven't seen in my life before. After looking at the Animals and the Sea Animals we went outside the building and walked back to the Crown. We were in the Sea Life Aquarium for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. We decided to have dinner at Crowns.
At 6:00 P.M we had dinner at Tandoors - Crown. Today I have been to 4 places the Crown, Melbourne River Cruises, the 35 tram, and the Sea Life Aquarium. After dinner we went back home. I've seen heaps of things today. We arrived back home around 7:00 P.M. I have less than 3 days in Melbourne left. I think that tomorrow I won't do anything fun.
I hope you like my post. Have a cool 😎 day!! Bye!!
